Herman Russchenberg

Prof. Russchenberg is leading the Climate Action program of Delft University of Technology. This program combines climate science with mitigation, adaptation, and climate governance, aiming at innovations needed to combat climate change.

Prof. Russchenberg is an atmospheric scientist specialized in the role of clouds in the climate system. He is initiator and scientific leader of the national Ruisdael Observatory in The Netherlands, and one of the founding fathers of the European network ACTRIS. He also chairs the European division of the global climate alliance of universities IUCA.
